Web4Realty is another real estate website builder you can find among the many existing ones in the market.

And you might ask yourself if it’s worth a try.

Since there wasn’t an in-depth review about it out there, I wrote one.

So, in this article, you will learn what it is, the products and features it includes, the pros and cons, and what alternatives there are.

On top of that, I also analyzed two real estate websites built with it and how well Web4Realty could keep its promises.

What is Web4Realty?

Web4Realty is mainly known for easy-to-make real estate websites with IDX integration, but this is just one of the software company’s three products.

The three main products Web4Realty offers are a real estate website builder with IDX integration, contact management software (CRM), and email marketing software.

You get the real estate website builder with IDX integration in the “Starter Plan.”

If you also want the CRM, you will need to choose the “Pro Plan,” and if you additionally want the email marketing software, it’s the “Growth Plan” you need to choose.

So, as you can see, you can’t get the CRM and the email marketing software as different products without also having to choose at least the website builder.

They are all part of different pricing plans.

Web4Realty Products & Features

As already discussed, the three main products are the real estate website builder with IDX integration, the CRM, and the email marketing software.

Now, let’s check what they can actually do.

1) Web4Realty Website Builder with IDX Integration

Web4Realty’s website builder provides users with a drag-and-drop interface, so you won’t need HTML, Javascript, or other web languages to build a real estate website.

So you can just drag and drop different website design elements with your mouse.

You can also drag and drop text, videos, and images.

The websites you can build with it are also responsive, which means that they will automatically notice different types of screen sizes and adjust the display of the website accordingly.

Internal analytics is also integrated, so you can find out more about your website traffic volume or visitor behavior and measure your overall metrics.

A website isn’t good for marketing if you can’t convert visitors into leads.

So you need landing pages to capture leads for that, which the website builder also provides, including landing page templates and lead forms.

Except for using their ad platforms, I see fewer benefits in social media each day due to an overall decline in organic reach.

That’s why the next feature of the website builder doesn’t impress me as much as it would have seven years ago.

So, the social media feature helps you integrate your websites with different social media platforms.

For example, you can include a share option in a blog post, and readers can then share content they liked from you on different social media platforms.

The website builder also includes a blogging platform so you can do real estate content marketing.

The virtual tour builder is the last feature to mention in the context of the website builder that enables you to create slideshow tours for your property listings.

The IDX Integration

With the IDX feature connected to the website builder, you can create different filters for buyers, add mortgage calculators on all listings and implement a property search via an interactive map.

Potential buyers can filter properties by price, style, location, and more.

In my article about how to integrate IDX into a WordPress website, I mentioned that many of these integrations come with iframes.

This leads to a real estate website not being Google search friendly.

At least the iframe part is not the case with the Web4Realty IDX integration, and the feature is also mobile responsive.

The IDX feature also provides different customizable call-to-actions and a feature to schedule property showings to help you convert visitors of your property listings into leads.

An integrated analytics feature helps you see what type of listings your website visitors and leads are viewing.

The latter works when the CRM software is available, so the IDX can sync.

2) The Web4Realty CRM

Compared to other customer relationship software for real estate on the market, this is a smaller software, but worth mentioning.

You can track each relationship from prospect to close, analyze your sales history, segment contacts with tags, and track all listing interactions.

Additionally, you can track commissions earned, past transactions, and closing dates.

It also includes email and SMS notifications; you can set up reminders and manage your overall workflow.

When it syncs with your real estate website, all the leads converted on landing pages or property listing pages are automatically added to the CRM.

3) Email Marketing

With the email marketing software SmartMail from Web4Realty, you can create automated campaigns, use pre-made templates, or create your own.

It also features analytics to track clicks and website visits and syncs with the website builder and the CRM.

You can do this with a drag-and-drop-builder when creating or designing an email.

All email templates are mobile-responsive.

The software also includes pre-made templates for every major holiday and automated birthday, holiday, and anniversary messages.

You can also send automated emails based on CRM fields and website engagement.

The software also lets you organize leads in different groups or segments to send more individualized messages.

Analysis of Two Real Estate Websites Made with Web4Realty

I wanted to know how good real estate websites built with Web4Realty are, so I didn’t check the theme previews they offer on their website but researched different real estate websites built with it.

This could be done by searching “Real Estate Websites by Web4Realty” on Google.

Why can they be found that way?

Most users keep this Web4Realty advertising displayed on their real estate websites, so they get indexed by Google and can be found by me.

I looked out for three things:

  • The site speed with Google Page Speed Insights
  • If properties listing pages get indexed by Google by putting into the search field “site:URL.”
  • How the site looked on mobile (if it’s really responsive).

1) Alanwiggins.com

When it comes to website speed, unfortunately, this page got only a low score of 43 for desktops and only a score of 18 for mobile devices from Google.

This means the full organic ranking potential is more difficult to reach with a score like that.

The primary issue was with unused JavaScript and server response time, which points toward some problems on the side of the provider, not the user.

Next, I checked if Google indexed a randomly selected MLS property listing page.

The first one seems to not have been indexed.

Considering it might have been an exception, I tried another one.

Unfortunately, the second one didn’t come up in Google either.

This might be an internal configuration problem because permalinks are not optimized in a search engine-friendly way.

The good news, at least, was that I couldn’t find that they were using iframes for the IDX integration.

Next, I checked how the website looked on my smartphone, and yes, the website is responsive, although it loaded slightly slower than on the desktop.

Let’s see if the situation is similar for the following website.

2) Propertyhound.ca

Here, the situation with the site speed looks better, but still not as good as it could be.

Google gave this real estate website a mid-range score (orange = needs improvement) of 84 for desktop and, unfortunately, again, a lower score but a slightly higher score than before of 38 for mobile devices.

For this website, a bigger part of the problem from the user and not the provider might be using image formats such as PNG.

But that’s the only one not caused by the provider.

The rest are issues such as preloading, unused CSS, and again unused JavaScript.

Next, I checked again if property listing pages that are generated by the IDX integration are Google indexed.

And darn, the first one was not indexed, and unfortunately, the next one wasn’t either.

I found the same issue again; the not-so-search-friendly permalinks were used in these URLs.

If those property listing pages looked like “https://propertyhound.ca/alpine-county-properties/markleeville/3563-East-Bayshore-Road-Rd”, things would look different for Google indexing the site.

But that’s just one factor.

The website loaded faster on my smartphone, but some graphic elements weren’t aligned properly. But overall, it was responsive.

Web4Realty reviews

What do I make of this analysis?

There is no promise on the Web4Realty website regarding fast website speed.

However, since it’s a ranking factor for Google, I would, on the one hand, educate users on how to use images efficiently when using the website builder.

On the other hand, I would check with the developers for coding issues and how the site speed could be further improved.

The promise of being “search engine optimized” regarding the IDX integration falls a bit short since I couldn’t find any property listing pages indexed on Google.

Maybe the first two websites I analyzed weren’t statistically significant, and the next 20 would have been indexed, but there might be a minor issue.

The responsiveness on mobile devices seems to be decent and working.

Sometimes, there might be some minor issues with text elements overlapping graphic elements, but the respective user can also cause this.

Pros and Cons of Web4Realty

After looking at what I have found so far, let’s see how the different pros and cons of Web4Realty turn out.

Synchronization between all different software types of Web4Realty
  • Reasonable pricing plans
  • IDX integration without using I-frames

Cons

  • The CRM and the email software can’t be ordered separately from the website builder with IDX integration.

  • Hidden costs for the CRM and email marketing software are not easily visible.
